This tutorial describes how to set up and install the Polkadot js-extension for Chrome.
Information for the browser extension below are taken from Git page:
A very simple scaffolding browser extension that injects a @polkadot/api
Signer into a page, along with any associated accounts, allowing for use by any dapp.
This is an extensible POC implementation of a Polkadot/Substrate browser signer.
As it stands, it does one thing: it only manages accounts and allows the signing of transactions with those accounts. It does not inject providers for use by dapps at this early point, nor does it perform wallet functions where it constructs and submits txs to the network.
Install the extension in Google Chrome from the web store
Setup Polkadot extension to always be visible in Chrome as shown in picture below
Once installed and set up you can choose to make new wallet or restore from JSON keystore file if you already have a Pirl 2.0 wallet.
